"Too (Two) on the Nose" is an ongoing ceramic project where I blend functionality with bold, narrative-driven design. By transforming everyday ceramic items into a lifestyle set, I incorporate exaggerated, pierced facial features and other key elements to challenge traditional notions of what it means to have something "functional." Each piece serves a purpose, whether it’s a mug, a plate, or a bowl, but it also makes a statement with its prominent design, focusing especially on the nose and facial features. It’s about taking the familiar and making it distinctly personal, giving everyday objects a bit of edge while staying rooted in their function.
